Muslimedia and The Breeze

The Breeze and the Islamic Center of Rancho Cucamonga, along with Students for Justice in Palestine, will hold a conversation and meal called Muslimedia, a meeting for journalists and Islamic community leaders to discuss how Muslims are covered in the media.
The goal is for journalists, guests and Muslim attendees to exchange ideas on how the local Islamic community is covered and break stereotypes surrounding both Muslims and journalists for better reporting. There will also be a tour of the mosque and observation of afternoon prayers.
Guests are encouraged to dress modestly. Women are typically covered and don't wear anything too revealing, and men are dressed in pants with a t-shirt or button up.
