On March 18, 2018, nearly 12 months ago, a 22-year-old Black man who was standing in his grandmother's backyard in Sacramento, California while on the cell phone ultimately became the victim of state sanctioned execution by several officers, who mistook him for a person engaging in vandalistic activities, and his cell phone for a gun.
"I urge the college to institutionalize its stated support for Dreamers, undocumented students, and students with undocumented family members and friends.”
