Welcoming 9,000 New (Hypothetical) Rancho Cucamonga Residents

According to the Etiwanda Heights Neighborhood and Conservation Plan, more than 4,000 acres were voted to be turned into residential areas, conservation spaces, and parks. It will have two blocks set aside for commercial shops.

There are a few concerns in mind such as how the development would affect pre-existing land owners' property value in the area or protecting endangered animals and flowers. A poll gathering the opinions of Rancho Cucamonga shares a smaller population’s reaction to the plan.

Selling Food From Home

As of May 10, 2019, entrepreneurs within Riverside County can sell food made from home. A maximum of 30 meals per day and 60 meals per week are allowed under this law. A Microenterprise Home Kitchen Permit and a safety certificate are mandatory, and kitchens contributing to sales will be inspected yearly. Clients can check online for the Environmental Health's reviews on businesses.

A New Start For Those Previously Incarcerated

For whatever reason, if someone is being reintroduced to society, there's a list of advice that should make the process easier. Keeping up with technology's advances serves as an advantage. The Job & Community Resource Fair held by San Bernardino County helped those who were formerly incarcerated with housing and child support, among other concerns. Reclaiming one's identity and repositioning oneself in society is possible. It's important to believe in oneself as well as knowing that others believe in new beginnings.

College Degree Needed? Yes. No. Maybe.

Obtaining proof of a higher education can be a mark that a candidate has practiced their writing, comprehension ability, and people-skills to an educational standard.

Before investing in college, students should consider the return on investment. Now a days, as long as the talent matches the position, a degree may not be needed to get into some companies. However, the ability to problem solve, which companies are looking for, may be easier to increase over the long term by developing the skills universities have students learn.

Transitioning to College

On September 25, 2019, local school districts teamed up to serve prospective undergraduates at The Inland Empire Regional College Fair. The event helped students consider local and distant colleges based on personal interests. California State Universities, military recruiters, and technical colleges among others were incorporated.
