Homeless Chess Champion Is Now A Chess Master At Just 10 Years Old

Tani Adewumi’s family fled Nigeria in 2017 when their lives were threatened and settled in New York. Following the win, his chess coach set up a GoFundMe, which they were able to raise more than 250,000 dollars in a span of 10 days.
