ABOUT ME
Hello Lover’s,
I am Kamille Tate, a nontraditional student who is also an empty-nester. Originally, I began my journey within higher education in the 1990s, as life presented obstacles I opted to focus on a career, later initiated into the sacred space of motherhood.
With the many happenstances of life, I find myself exploring academia once again with the intention of personal and social development and awareness, bridging generational gaps —and what better way to do so than with the imagery of love in the 1990s.
One of the most important reasons for doing anything is in finding your “why?” and mine is in honor of my father. My dad inspired me throughout my youth to be myself, stand on my principles and embrace the individual that I am.
Although he passed in July 2018, he remains by my side and within my heart, fueling me to succeed with love and acceptance. Traits I hope are intertwined within the words shared to perhaps spark something within the reader to bloom within their own uniqueness and abilities.
