Hidden world of bizarre creatures discovered deep beneath Antarctic ice.

Geologists uncovered several species 900 meters under an Antarctica ice shelf. Huw Griffiths specified that other animals had been discovered here before like fish and arthropod but none like these creatures that were inside an ice shelf.

Griffiths expresses "How much more other unique life has there been that we have lost and never knew about.”

Without knowledge of what types of animals these were, there is no knowledge of how they got there and how they were able to survive

How A Retail Chain Without A Website Powered Through The Pandemic

Like many other stores during the pandemic, Burlington didn’t have an online site for sales. They also shut down immediately after the COVID-19 outbreak in Mar. 2020. The shutdown made Burlington stronger, by opening 62 more stores. More shoppers coming in and different merchandises to attract shoppers. Burlington is beginning to make a comeback through the pandemic from their bargaining prices, unique products and loyal customers.

L.A. Unified gets 100 doses but needs thousands to reopen schools.

One hundred Los Angeles Unified school district employees receive coronavirus vaccine along with Long Beach employees with the goal to start the process of reopening schools. The vaccine was only available to employees who were 65 years or older. Although the vaccines arrived frozen and had to be thawed, the district is expecting to receive 2,000 more doses in short supplies. Los Angeles County public health director Barbra Ferrer motivates Los Angeles to be the leader by opening schools and trying to go back to our normal lives after vaccination.

N.Y. Restaurant Fires Waitress Who Wouldn’t Get Covid-19 Vaccine

Still trying to figure out the cons of the COVID-19 vaccine with fertility, Bonnie Jacobson, was terminated from New York City’s the Red Hook Tavern restaurant. The restaurant required all employees to be vaccinated despite her concerns with the vaccine. In New York restaurant employees were the first after health care workers to be vaccinated. Restaurant owner Billy Durney stated the situation should’ve been handled differently and revised the policy for employees who don’t get vaccinated.

Desperate for Light and Warmth, Texans See No End for Winter Storm

Texas homes freeze due to more than 2.5 million houses with no power and lack of water. FEMA has been sending water, blankets generators and will also be providing diesel fuel. Roads were covered with snow and sleet, homes flooded with water, seven million people were forced to boil water for warmth, and some people were desperate for water and light.
